Watching Frosty Grow With Good Books is beginning to take shape. The children are able to tell the class what their book was all about, who read it to them and then they say if it is a book they would recommend for other children to read! December 15 - 23

We spread some Christmas Cheer by visiting Miscouche Villa with Ms. Gogan's class and Ms. Mac!

The Gingerbread Man arrived in class one day and then disappeared only leaving a note behind.  He returned again on Monday December 22 and was shared by everyone in the class.  Delicious!

Making our own Gingerbread Man Art!

Clipboard cruising with the sight words on gingerbread men!

Sight words are hidden in the picture.  Use a magnifying glass to find and record the words!

Using playdough add details to the pictures!

Baking, decorating and finally eating Gingerbread cookies with Mr. Acorn's home economics class!

We treated our grade 4 book, computer and math buddies with gingerbread cookies.  All that needed to be done was to decorate and eat the cookies!

Painting some salt dough Christmas ornaments!

Roll the dice color that number on your gingerbread man.

Reading and measuring on the chart poems!

Arranging the gingerbread man numbers in proper sequence.

Working together on the Gingerbread Man Family puzzle!

Roll the dice, place that number of items in the tin.  Record on your sheet - which number raced to the top?

The gift wrapping station was used each and everyday!  Thank you so much for all the items that you sent it.

Mr. Acorn's class helped the children make your tea light ornaments.  We shut off the light and turned them all on.  We thought they were very pretty!

The children were quite surprised to see they could turn 3 hearts into a Christmas tree decoration!

How many Gingerbread men long is the kleenex box?

More counting and recording!

Sequence all the gingerbread families by size!

What a wonderful bridge!

We had our very own Santa's Little Helper in the class!

Mr. MacDonald came to visit and read a Christmas story!

We made cards and an ornament for some special people in the school.  We delivered and sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

We had a sing song on the last day of school.  Mr. Doran brought a guitar for me as well. The children did an awesome job of singing.  We invited grade 1, 2, and grade 4 to our sing song.

To end the sing song Ms. Johnson read A Canadian 12 Days of Christmas to the group!
