November 12 - 22 ~~~ Finishing up Mrs. Wishy Washy and National Child Day!

Sequence the story
 Mrs. Wishy Washy.
Take turns telling the
story to your group.

Pull out a  card word from
 the container, dab the word
on your sheet.  If you get
a card that says “POP” you
 dab any word you wish!

Color your own Mrs. Wishy
 Washy book to take home
and read to your family.

Initial sounds… look at the
big card, see the letter on
the card find s picture that
 begins with that letter.

Creating our very own Mrs.
 Wishy Washy using paper
plates, curly hair, crayons,
 markers, and googly eyes.

Our Mrs. Wishy Washy
 wall of Art!!!

National Child Day.
We had a great time celebrating!

Some learning centre pictures!

Using the whiteboards.  First we
did some number formation. Than we
had some time to draw and create.

Our favorite Mrs. Wishy Washy books.
Both Mrs. Wishy Washy and Mr. Wishy
Washy were favorites of three people.
Mrs. Wishy Washy Christmas and Wishy
Washy Day were the favorites of two
people and The Hole in the Tub and
Mrs. Wishy Washy’s Farm were the
favorite of two people. One student did
not want to choose any of the books.

The grand finale of Mrs. Wishy Washy!
A surprise visitor, Mrs. Wishy Washy (aka me)!!!
The children loved seeing her. We finished
this fun, learning theme with the Wishy Washy
 song and movements.

October 28 - November 1 ~~~ Finishing up Halloween!

Cleaning the class pumpkin.
Not everyone enjoyed the feeling.

We put all the names in a

 Chloe was the lucky winner.
 She got to take our
Jack-O-Lantern home.
Congratulations Chloe!

Roll and graph. Which Halloween
character will race to the finish?

Very Busy Crows …. Counting on.
 Put the numbers in order.

Sorting fruit and vegetables.

Our gourds have been
transformed into Halloween
decorations.  I think they are cute!

Halloween clipboard cruising.

Our grade 4 book buddies created
their own books and invited our
class down as they read their books.
I noticed some very nice creative
illustrations and interesting stories.
Well done Grade 4!

The table is set and ready
 for the Halloween Party!
 Thank you to Avery, Raye,
Kynlee, and Hope for bringing in the treats.

The children were quite excited
 to wear their Halloween costumes
in class. Awesome costumes!!!

We played catch the flying bat!
 Lots of laughs!

Spider Relay…. Place a large
spider on your head. See if you
can go to the finish line and back
to a team member without letting
the spider fall off your head.
Freeze Dance… I do not know
Where my kindergarten children
Have gone.

Dance with the witch.
Dance with a partner.
