March 26 - 30

Our Wall of Art looks great!
Each Goldilocks and Baby Bear is quite unique!

We had such fun acting out Goldilocks and The Three Bears.
I loved the character voices that the children used.
The children really enjoy acting out stories.

We have been reading different books about Goldilocks and The Three Bears.
If you have any other Goldilocks and The Three Bear books please send
them in for us to read. Thank You!

C and J are excellent artists!
They like to draw and write on my easel.
Cooperation and teamwork.
Notice the smiles!

Estimating, explaining why you think that there are that number of bears.
Counting the bears in the jars. Was I close?

Guided writing with Goldilocks and The Three Bears.
My favorite part is ...
I am guiding the printing- are you beginning at the top when printing, using lowercase letters and leaving spaces between words.

A used the whiteboard to illustrate what she would say if
she was a bear and Goldilocks was in her house.
Get Away!

If I were a character in this fairy tale I would say...
We have been discussing how some illustrators use speech bubbles
to say something.

Our work jobs focused around Goldilocks and the Three Bears this week.
The children are using their senses to describe the trees that may have been in the forest around the Three Bears Home.

Ron Taweel has captured the attention of the children.
He read the book, Castles, Caves and Honeycombs.

C and Z were searching the classroom for clues about Easter.
Here C has found an Easter chick!

C and C are best buddies. They were having a lot
of fun in the dramatic play centre.

Notice how A put many small blocks around the bottom of her structure.
When I asked if she could tell me why she put them there, she replied that it
would help keep it from falling.
