Feb 20 -23 Blog ~~~~ 100th Day and the Olympics!

Griffin celebrated his 6th birthday.
Happy Birthday Griffin!

Nevaeh is writing the morning message.

Our 100th Day of School!

Counting 10 items of each snack using the 10 frames.

The children realized they could even make
AB patterns with their snack before eating it.

What the students think they will
look like when they turn 100 years old.

100 Exercises - 10 reps of each exercise!
Lots of fun going on here.

Mr. Doran was in to read a story
about kindness to the students.

Some learning centre pictures.

We had an assembly and the classes
walked in representing the country there
class was keeping tabs on during the Olympics.
Here we are representing United States and France.
China is coming in behind us.

Bransen and Clariabella were
students of the month!

Bransen was our star of the week
and Caleb was Mrs. McCarthy’s.
I had both classes all day on Friday
and a part of our day includes reading
your guided reader to the class.
Caleb and Bransen were the helpers
holding the microphone for the other
student.  Here Caleb is holding
the microphone while Bransen reads his book.

When Caleb grows up he is
going to be a race car driver!

When Bransen grows up he is
going to drive an ambulance!

Part of the Star of the Week’s job
in KA is to be the teacher for a
couple of activities.  Students are asked
what they would like to be called,
by their first name, teacher or Mr. or Ms.
Here is Mr.Cannon, and he is leading
Simon Says. The children have discovered
that being a teacher can be hard work!

Ending fabulous Friday with the Freeze Dance!
