April 22 - May 1 Dinosaur Days

Creating our own volcanoes ... we record what materials we need and what happens when you mix vinegar and baking soda in a dish.

We are Paleontologists digging for dinosaurs, fossils and words relating to dinosaurs.  We draw a dinosaur and record six dinosaur words!

The children are learning to use dictionaries to find words!

The block area is a popular centre.  Ryly and Zoey have a whole community going on here.

I have started asking the children to write the morning message.  Ryly did an excellent job!

Our dinosaur puzzles, the children know it is much easier to complete a puzzle if you turn all the pieces over first and work together to complete the outside edge first!
