Gingerbread Unit - Week #1

Our first mystery reader.  Cst. Morrison has totally captured the children's attention.

We are ready for the Gingerbread Man Unit. The Gingerbread Girl and Boy went missing!

As we read each story we compare characters, setting, problem and solution.  We discovered each story so far has a little old man and woman, a gingerbread and a fox!  They also have some different characters

First we build our pattern.  Then we describe our pattern and  make it with paper Gingerbread paper people.

Which sight word is that Gingerbread Man hidden under?

Making our own Gingerbread character to decorate the door!

Exploring our 5 Senses!  Describe and write about Gumdrops.   They smell yummy and taste delicious!

The Gingerbread house in the hallway is now all decorated!

The children cooperated to put the Gingerbread  house that Vienna brought in together. Thank You, Vienna!
