April 20 - 24th ~ Home Learning Activity Pictures

McKinley is missing her best friend Brynlee!

Kynlee drew her favorite part of
her Carebear book. I see some words
on the bottom of her picture.

Deandra is enjoying a Mo Willems book.
The Pigeon Needs A Bath. Notice how
 author Mo Willems uses speech
 bubbles in his story.

Hope is working hard to
 find letters in this book.

Brynlee is helping with some baking!

We celebrated Earth Day on April 22.
Kynlee drew a beautiful Earth Day
Picture. I like the detail and colors.
I wonder?? What would Kynlee write about her picture?

McKinley is planting some vegetable
seeds for Earth Day. In the fall
she will harvest Kale and Squash.

Fresh air and exercise are important!
While outdoors Raye counted 50 trees!

Our pets are very comforting.
Here Brynlee is snuggling with Delilah!

Being creative is so much fun!!!
Here Amber is all dressed up just
like in our dramatic play center.

Raye is also having fun being
creative with her pink slime!!!
It stretches and she can turn
 it into shapes.

McKinley is practicing her
 Jolly Phonics sounds.  I can
 see her floating fish. FFFFF

Raye discovered that she has
13 steps in her stairs at home.

April 20th was Zero The Hero day.
McKinley found a cheerio that was
 shaped like a zero.

Hello from Avery, Levi, Landon,
Chloe, Stefen and Nolan.

Learning from Home ~ Week #2 ~~ April 14 - 17

Some creative AB patterns.
Levi used blankets and teddy bears.

Raye used spoons and knives. She also
discovered she had two AB patterns here.
One was  a spoon knife pattern. The
other was an up down pattern.
 Great thinking Raye!

Nice playdough containers and playdough
cutter pattern Avery!

McKinley used some shapes
 for her AB pattern.

Deandra used some  colored
cylinder shapes for her AB pattern.

Landon is working in his literacy
book. I noticed he is holding
his pencil correctly!

Nice picture Levi. I noticed you
used different colors and are adding
3-5 colors and detail for your math
notebook question.

Kynlee you added many details
 and used lots of colors.

Sally had 2 Easter eggs and Billy had 1.
How many Easter Eggs do they have altogether?
Show your work. Draw a picture of Sally and
Billy and their eggs. Count the eggs, print the number.
Be sure to use 3-5 colors and add detail to
your picture. Ex. sky, sun/rain/or snow falling,
Sally, Billy, Easter baskets with their eggs,
some grass, flowers, trees, birds, etc
Nice work McKinley.

Lots of spring words were found
 during McKinley’s clipboard cruising.

Exercise is important!

London is ready for some
 outdoor fun. You are wearing
 the perfect boots for outdoors!

Stefen is enjoying some
time using the tablet.

Raye is showing her favorite book.
I noticed the title has two of
our sight words. I & my.

Creativity is important.
 Kynlee enjoys arts and crafts.

Brynlee is painting a tire for
her homemade tire swing. I had
a swing like that when I was a little girl.

Levi has created a village
with his Lego.  Lego is excellent
for fine motor and creativity development!

Hi from Chloe, Avery and Nolan!

Ms. MacLean says hi.
She misses you all very much
and hopes you are having fun
 learning at home.

Learning from Home - Week # 1 - April 6-9

McKinley is all ready for her first
day of learning from home!

Hope is drawing her favorite part
of the story - Ducks Don’t Get Wet!

Nice drawing McKinley!
 Notice the detail and that
McKinley used the 3-5 color rule.

Kynlee, you also remembered
to use 3-5 colors and added extra detail!

McKinley, I love rainbows as well!

Chloe, I notice that you are
adding detail and using 3-5 colors.

Kynlee, that’s a beautiful picture
of you and Chloe. I know you are
 missing your friends. You worked
hard on your sentence.

Deandra is hard at work on
 drawing the favorite part of
the story. Love the 3-5 colors
and the detail. I noticed you
added the date. Great idea!

McKinley and Deandra found some 3D
 shapes around their homes

Kynlee celebrated her 6th
birthday!  Happy birthday Kynlee!

McKinley is using her pointer
power as she is reading her
Toopy book.

Deandra lost a tooth!

McKinley is enjoying a
story on Raz Kids.

Brynlee is enjoying learning with her dogs.

Levi is enjoying a color by code.

McKinley has been busy creating
art and  dressing up for dramatic play.
