November 30 - Dec 3 Week # 1 of the Gingerbread Man!

Using teamwork to put together the Gingerbread Family Puzzle!

Roll a dice and color that number on your gingerbread man.  Be sure to do your best coloring!

Clipboard cruising finding gingerbread men with our sight words on them and recording them.

Working on our own gingerbread person.  We glued our picture on the face part and then decorated the body using any materials that we wished!

Our finished kindergarten gingerbread family!

Some Lego creations!

We arrived to find a gingerbread boy and girl in our class.  We were supposed to eat then before lunch.  However, when we came back from gym they were gone and only a note remained.  We followed the note clues but did not find the gingerbread boy or girl.  We will keep looking maybe we will catch them some day soon!
When we went back to our classroom after searching for the gingerbread boy and girl.  There was a note saying they had to run but please enjoy a small gingerbread cookie for now!  We took the cookies to the lunch room to eat, they were delicious!

Some creations from the block area!  We may have some building contractors in the classroom!

Some learning centre time activities!

Sherla MacNeill left us the game Squirrel and Acorns.  We all had a couple of turns to play. It was an excellent game for fine motor skill development and lots of fun too!

Our hallway tree is beginning to look festive. Kindergarten and grade one made ornaments to hang on the tree.
