Final post for this year - Cabot Park - June 20, 2013

Fun on the playground equipment!

Snacks and lunch ... we all enjoyed the picnic!  Thank you to Fiona's Mom for the freezies!

We had a treasure hunt before heading to the beach! There were four boxes hidden with a maps inside showing where the next treasure box was hidden.  The last treasure box was on the beach with sand shovels for everyone!

Friends are great!

Scooters for ice cream - a great end to a wonderful year end trip!  Thank you Barry for driving the bus for us!

June 10 - 19 - Our Final Work Jobs!

June 3 - 7th - Goldilocks and The Three Bears!

Acting out Goldilocks and The Three Bears!

A mat with a line across, two hockey sticks and a ball - Instant hockey game!

The children have really enjoyed the moon sand at learning centre time!

Just relaxing and fishing the letters of the alphabet!

How many chocolate, chocolate chip and honey teddy grahams do you have? Count , graph and then eat!

Using our 5 Senses to describe trees, leaves, branches that you may find in the woods!

The finished product.  Each bear and Goldilocks have their own personality!

KA and KB on stage for the Spring Concert.  The children did an amazing performance!

It's all about number 10 how many combinations could we make with the chips.  It looks like the combinations of 3 and 7  and 4 and 6 came up the most.  The children know the language of part part whole.  Three parts green and 7 parts white make a whole 10.

The kindergarten children read their guided reading books for the grade one students.  They all did an excellent job!  Using the microphone makes it so much more fun!  Great reading Drake!

More butterfly symmetry!

It is hard to decide which insect is my favorite to draw.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar transformed into a butterfly!  The girls loved the new puzzle!

Some outcomes we worked on while having fun with the very hungry caterpillar!
We created a display in the hallway using our hands to create the hungry caterpillar.  KA and KB did the complete alphabet.The very hungry caterpillars of KA and B are eating their way through the alphabet!
Our display each caterpillar is unique and has an item of food beginning with a letter of the alphabet to eat!
The children were thrilled went the hungry caterpillar arrived  just in time for Friday's snack!
