November 18 - 21

Pete the Cat left a bunch of clues to find him.  We searched for the clues and ended up back in our class.  We found a stuffed Pete and also a stand up Pete the Cat!  Special thanks to Jeff Noye foe making our Pete and to Ms. Mac for doing an awesome job of painting Pete!

Making our own Pete the Cat Books.

Roll the dice color the number and then color Pete!

Label Pete look and sound out the words to see where they belong!

Creating our very own Pete the Cat!

Memory Game of Pete

Listening to Pete " I Love My White Shoes"  on CD!

Board game of Pete ... no matter who I played with they seemed to get to the finish line before me!

We had a bride in the class and also a tiger clown! Dramatic play is wonderful for creative development and just imagine how the children are developing their motor skills , not to mention their social skills.

Each group was given some nuts and bolts ...they had to figure out was there  more, less or the same amount of nuts and bolts!

National Child Day - November 20 - a very important day to celebrate children.  KA and KB made some crowns, and a banner and we paraded through the hallways of the school.  We stopped in to see Mr. MacDonlad and presented him with a child friendly copy of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
