December 9- 13 Wrapping up our Gingerbread Man Unit

The Gingerbread Man was everywhere!

We baked our own Gingerbread cookies with Mr. Acorn and the grade 8 students! It was agreed upon by all that we were great cooks!

We're Going On a Gingerbread Chase ...

After decorating our cookies we took one bite and graphed which part of the cookie we ate first!

Use a magnifying glass to find the hidden sight words and record on a sheet.

Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?  Use a magnifying glass to figure out whose fingerprints were on the cookie jar!

Each morning after the children complete their must do they have an opportunity to choice a daily five card and work on a reading or writing activity for a few minutes!

Roll the dice and graph the gingerbread item.  Which one will race to the top of the sheet?

The children have really enjoyed decorating the Christmas tree in the class!

We had the pleasure of watching a performance of the Paper Bag Princess, Mud Puddle and Pigs put on by the Theatre of Young Audiences ... the children loved the performance!

Working on a Christmas surprise!

Our big Gingerbread man was found and we ate it all up.   Then we celebrated by opening up  Gingerbread Crackers with KA!

Montana brought in some craft supplies and everyone created a Christmas scene they look great on our Wall of Art!
