Working together to make the underworld puzzle. Great Teamwork!
I had a Gruffalo board game and each child had an opportunity to play the game with me and a few friends! Lots of fun and laughs.
The Gruffalo … what the students thought he might look like and what his character really looks like in the story.
Our Gruffalo chart poem. Ask your child to sing The Gruffalo song.
This week each workjob had two parts. For this one first you used playdough and the Gruffalo playdough mats and then you used the pictures to sequence the story.
Label the Gruffalo and then use the lacing wheels.
Print some Gruffalo words and then you complete a small Gruffalo puzzle.
Use the letter tiles to spell some Gruffalo related words and then you play a Gruffalo board game.
Using our whiteboards to practice forming letters and numbers. Notice if your child is making the numbers and letters correctly.
Some learning centre fun!
Kaitlynn is enjoying listening to a story at the listening centre.
Mrs. Dickieson was back and she is modeling partner reading with Cassie. Then all the students had a turn to partner read with a friend.
We had lots of fun acting out the Gruffalo story. The children did a wonderful job of using different voices as they acted out the story.
Creating our own Gruffalo Art! Each child was given the materials and each Gruffalo certainly has it’s own character. The sizes the children cut to make the facial details is interesting.
