February 13-17

Mr. MacDonald read the book "Time to Sleep" and has engaged
the children to pretend they are sleeping after the story has been read.
We had sleeping kittens, bears, bunnies, mice and a wide assortment of
other animals. Lots of snoring sounds. We all enjoyed the story!

Danielle, our mystery reader has captured the attention
of the students. She read The Balloon Tree and
brought attention on how to use
voice and expression when you read.
Thanks, Danielle!

The whiteboard is also used nearly every day
at learning centre time. The children love to draw and
print. Nice work A!

Using words to describe shapes. Points, corners, flat, round,
long, short and smooth.
Then we sorted the shapes many different ways.

Thanks for the dance.

The dramatic play centre is well used.
Here we have a skeleton, a ghost, Buzz Lightyear and
a princess. Imagination at it's best!

Wonderful conversation regarding the castle
pirates.

We had lots of fun celebrating our 100th Day
in School. We had a wonderful selection of 100
items that the children brought into the class. Thank you!
We also really enjoyed making our headbands and using
ten frames to count out 100 tasty treats!

We enjoyed the balloon game it was hard to keep
the red balloon up in the air.
We also made Valentines for our book and
computer buddies.

Valentine's Day!
Lots of excitement and fun as we
Opened up our valentine's!
What does this one say?
