January 30 - Febuary 3

We used hula hoops for a more interactive venn chart.
The children placed the animals into the circle under the book
it was in. Notice the hedgehog was in the overlap since he was in both
books!

"The Hat" wall display with the outcomes posted.

Each student completed a guided writing response for The Mitten and The Hat.
The Mitten responses were made into a book. The Hat responses are posted in the hallway.
We are working on finger spacing between words and using lowercase letters.
There is also a story sack that is being sent home about both stories.
Enjoy!

The hedgehog was in both stories The Mitten and The Hat.
So we decided that he should be made and displayed
on the Art Wall!

Finding pairs of mittens with numbers and hooking on that many links.
Great for fine motor, number recognition and math concepts!

Using magnifying glasses to match big and very tiny pictures.

Now, I see who stole the cookies from the cookie jar!

Mr. MacDonald, reads every day six to Kindergarten A and B.
Llama Llama Red Pajama! was a hit!

This block structure was left standing and then R added onto it.

Here A created the world. The blue represents the water
and the green is the land. Great work, A!

The dress up clothes are great for the imagination and
encourages cooperation. The children help each other
get into the clothing.

A few minutes to enjoy books before we go outside!
